We are on puppy day countdown in these parts... 3 sleeps to go before we pick him up.
The puppy lady sent us these little picture updates.
The small people have decided to call him
"MILO"
We have every conceivable puppy toy known to man to help keep him entertained, puppy training pads, doggy beds, blankets and the laundry is prepped for an overnight bedroom setup.
Anything else I need to know?!!?
i dont know if u have had a puppy before, but my partner taught me that as soon as he wakes up (from a nap etc) take him straighy outside, it helps them to learn to go outside when they need to wee etc :)
ReplyDeleteI've never had a dog....but that sure does look like the cutesy puppy ever.... Good luck and I'm sure your kids will smother him with love and affection!!!
ReplyDeleteIsn't he just adorable. Look at those eyes! Not too much longer to wait until you have your new addition at home with you. I bet he is going to be loved to bits. Lock up your good shoes so they don't get chewed!!!
ReplyDeleteawww isn't he adorable xx
ReplyDeleteNo way! Milo is just way too gorgeous, how are you going to do anything else in your day, other than play with him?! LOVE the name too xo
ReplyDeleteHe is just too cute! Love the name...looks like it will suit him perfectly!
ReplyDeletepuppy breath has this nice milky smell
ReplyDeletepuppy teeth are very sharp so don't let him get into the habit of chewing on your fingers
he will cry at night most likely
it's hard to get the smell of dog poop out of your nostrils for a while (it's like baby vomit, you seem to smell it everywhere)
but they crawl in and curl up in your heart and you can't belive it's so easy to love an animal so much :)
He is just gorgeous!!!!! It's a great idea if you can take a piece of blanket or bedding from what he is sleeping on with his mummy. That way it will still have her smell and give him comfort in the night time. Also the old radio or ticking clock in their bedroom seems to work well. The crying the first few nights is inevitable, and it's soooooo hard to be strong when they are being cute and whiny, but if you can break it after the first few nights, you will be sorted for good. Enjoy every moment of the new addition to your family!
