Hairy MacLary From Robinson's Dairy!

We've had a little snip on Friday, just an inch or two.  It took less than five minutes, maybe a dozen snips of the hairdressers scissors and I was $20 poorer.  Yes, that's right $20!

Next time I will totes be doing it myself, even if I have to use the sewing scissors to do it!

Milestones

I'm sure normal families celebrate normal baby milestones - rolling, sitting, crawling, walking.

In this house though, it's all about hairy milestones!

First hairclip! (And first teeny red leather shoes!)

And of course, the grand finale of hairy milestones today...

I give you the double braid!!!!

I know it is has wispy bits, is crooked and will probably not last the day... but it's braids people... BRAIDS!

I am making a softie - obviously a babushka softie with these three little faces.  The two babies tuck safely into the mumma's tummy pockets!  Cutest pattern ever!!!  My hand sewn faces leave a lot to be desired I think. 

In related face news, I spent 3 hours and $165 at the hairdresser on Saturday... and I look no different than before I went in.  Not Happy, Jan!
