We survived our Santa Photo!

I totally want to get that printed on a t-shrit to wear proudly for the rest of the festive season, because 'survive' we did!

It took numerous bribes of chocolate, money to waste in the Timezone located nearby and in the end, me pretending to 'steal' Santa's bell for Matilda to even look in the direction of the camera!  I honestly wish there were secret camera's set up behind Santa's chair catching the perfomance us mum's put on to get our children on Santa's knee and smiling.  They are Oscar worthy!

And looky what I found yesterday in Sportsgirl of all places and on sale...

A Beci Orpin embroider your own cushion!  Love it!  She must have done a collaboration with Sportsgirl or something.  They had some other cute things in there too that I could have gone troppo on but I find that store to bright and cheery and youthful for my liking these days.  All those bouncy, smiley, half naked sales assistants can be very intimidating!

Hope you are having a happy Sunday!

Ramblings....

Gosh I love finding things on the internet! Seriously. I could sit here all night, kids in bed, coffee my my side, tv flickering in the background searching for things I'm not sure I want till I see them.

Look at this lovely chore chart for instance:

Head on over to draw! pilgrim to print out your own FREE copy! Yay!

And sticking with my slightly green imaged theme, gosh I wish I could find these shoes in my size - lovely green Keds wedges. These size 10's are available on ebay at the moment.

And just a wee side story - why is it always the way that when you have no money you find lovely new clothes to buy? I headed out sans smalls this morning for errands and came across mountains of things I could have bought given an endless supply of cash! Grrrr, to Sussan for not letting me layby the lovely dress on sale in your shop! The husband has me on a tight budget at the moment as I have been lucky enough to be driving a brand spanking new car - a beautiful black Chrysler Grand Voyager! So, while I have no lovely dress or the above perfect shoes to match, I am driving a swish new car with loads of buttons and leather!

Some etsy love

I really haven't know about etsy for long, maybe 12 months. Sounds ridiculous really, but secretly, I am not very crafty and it just seems like such a crafty place! So when I was planning my baby girls first birthday party last year and entered 'babushka' into the search box, oh my, what a find. Look at these beautiful ladies from Fantastic Toys ...

And you dont even have to be very crafty to make them. You buy a pdf document which is emailed to you and you can print and fold the gorgeous girls yourself!
