Oh, school holidays. How you tease me with your initial awesomeness.
A slower more relaxed pace, pyjamas all day and absolutely no screeching alarm clocks going off every nine minutes because my arm is still to sleepy to reach round the side of the clock and switch it off completely so I just bang away on top hoping to somehow hit the snooze button.
Feeling grateful?
(disclaimer: I was actually up before 8:53 this morning. Just not early enough to dust the bedside table obviously.)

I'm grateful for school holidays too - I work at a school, and although I have to work during the break, I can start at 8am instead of 7.30am, so a little sleep-in for me!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy every moment of it! Undisturbed sleep is something one never seems to get enough of these day! :)
ReplyDeleteI am greatful for school holidays too! We are into our second week here now. I love the easy casual mornings with no rushing around... and I only have one in kindy. Next year will be torture getting one to kindy and one to prep at two different locals every day and carting a toddler around to do it all.
ReplyDeleteHeya...isnt it wonderful how Maxabella makes u sfeel wonderful and "greatful" every weekend...and how we in our own ways feel beautiful for the things:)

ReplyDeleteJust popping over from Maxabella.
Revel in it, LL. I'm still on 'work time', so no rest for the wicked. But I'm happily shifting the kids routine and it feels great to mix it up a little. x
ReplyDeleteThe alarm... such a great invention... but SO stressful on the mind and body. Enjoy your days of alarm free bliss :o)

ReplyDeleteThree days til mine start and I will also be immensly grateful to turn off the alarms and live in my pyjamas. Hope you're enjoying yours :)
