Again with the shocking photos... I know, sorry!
This creative space has really become my nightly ritual. Setting myself up on the carpet with the essentials - laptop, crochet, magazines (yay to new Donna Hay!), a cup of tea and crappy tv.
Not really sure where I am heading with these circles, soon to become squares. I am using this lovely pattern from The Royal Sisters and the extra wool I ended up with after finishing Oscar's granny stripe rug.
Praps two rows of them together might make a lovely winter scarf? I do like those lovely warm colours. The problem is, now I know how to do something crafty I literally cannot sit in front of the tv without hooking something in my hands. Have you found that?
Those circles would make a fabulous scarf! I have to do something else while I watch TV, unless it's a REALLY good show, then I have to disppear into it!

ReplyDeleteabsolutely, cant do night time tv without a project in hand. i just nod off zzzzzzz
ReplyDeleteSounds like my kind of ritual.
ReplyDeleteI am with Jill. They would make a great scarf. Seems like you are enjoying making them. Nice sometimes to relax and enjoy your craft. Sounds heavenly.
ReplyDeleteI have totally found that. My nighttime craftiness is usually yarn related - no brain power for sewing :-P
ReplyDeleteA scarf sounds like a fantastic use for those rounds - it would be so lovely and autumny.
Ahh hooking and watching tv, nothing better than doing that and then I don't feel so guilty watching tv when I'm being productive. Enjoy your hooking tonight.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the boy present idea too. It looks like I'll be busy sewing very soon or hooking :)
Definitely an autumn scarf is the go. That would be beautiful. P.s I quite often use craft as a means to justify watching T.V.
ReplyDeleteIt only gets worse. I have issues going out to dinner and leaving the hook or the sticks behind...
ReplyDeleteHello, thanks for the lovely comment.

I always have something on the go of a night time - I went out last night with a bunch of Prep Mum's - they all know that I am a mad crafter but was not game enough to pull out the knitting that was buried in my bag (and it was a little too dark anyway) Knitting and Crochet are my night time crafts (although I cant do lacework past about 9.30 - it usually ends in tears and lots of frogging)
