I'm sure normal families celebrate normal baby milestones - rolling, sitting, crawling, walking.
In this house though, it's all about hairy milestones!
First hairclip! (And first teeny red leather shoes!)
First successful pony!
First double ponies!
And of course, the grand finale of hairy milestones today...
I give you the double braid!!!!
I know it is has wispy bits, is crooked and will probably not last the day... but it's braids people... BRAIDS!
My baby doll is growing up.
It is braids!! good on you and congrats! I never thought Miss M would get braids her hair was so painful to grow.. but now its halfway down her back yippee!!
ReplyDeleteMe thinks it is good to have a different slant on this. Hooray for braids.
ReplyDeleteI am super impressed! I only learned how to braid last year and I was very proud of myself! Goose asks for it often, but I'm still very much the novice and it takes me good while - particularly as we need to get rid of all of her knots! Frog has not been patient enough for me to try on her yet though - I'm impressed with her patience!
ReplyDeleteP.S. blog post finally up! Thanks so much!
Oh what a gorgeous post! These are mighty big milestones, don't you worry. I have to admit, I have put clips in my eldest boy's hair before... AND just recently when they had 'crazy hair day' at preschool, I put piggy tails in his hair, he looked SO cute ;o)
ReplyDeleteBraids are awesome, something I never learnt how to do properly. I can plait, but braiding is just beyond me. Well done on the latest milestone xo
Oh I'm so jealous of that first hairy milestone a hair clip my little princess is 8 months and still not enough hair for a hair clip, B had so much more hair than her. Braids good on you I will have to start learning this one. xx
